ROBIGO 20 SC is a powerful nematicidal plant protection product effective against many nematode species. Its active ingredient, abamectin, is a GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) agonist. It stimulates the release of GABA and accelerates its binding in the muscle cells of target pests. As a result of this binding, the flow of chloride ions increases and the nervous system is blocked. Abamectin acts by contact in the soil.
In drip irrigation applications, the plant protection product should be applied during the middle of the first one-third of the irrigation period.
It should be applied over a short period, followed by a short irrigation period with water. In order to ensure homogeneous distribution and high efficacy, sufficient time should be allowed for the product to reach from the first emitter to the last emitter.
After application is completed, water should be supplied to ensure that no plant protection product remains in the last emitter. Once the plant protection product reaches the root zone, nematode control begins.
The spraying equipment should be calibrated before application. The amount of mixture to be applied to a specific area should be properly adjusted to ensure good coverage.
Applications should be carried out during the cooler hours of the day under calm or low-wind weather conditions.
Immediately after completing the application, safely empty the tank of the application equipment.
Fill the tank with clean water and operate the mixer and spraying system to ensure that all parts are thoroughly washed.
Do not carry out washing operations near water sources. Do not discharge washing water or waste into water sources.
Cucumber – Gherkin (Greenhouse):
The product is applied to the soil during planting, either into the furrow, beside the planting area with the initial irrigation water, or through drip irrigation.
The highest efficacy is achieved by applying it around the base of the plant with the initial irrigation water after planting.
After the first application, applications are repeated at intervals of 10–14 days.
For drip irrigation, one irrigation line should be installed for each plant row, with one emitter positioned close to each plant to ensure homogeneous distribution.
Tomato (Greenhouse) and Pepper (Greenhouse):
The product is applied to the soil through drip irrigation.
After the first application, applications are repeated at intervals of 10–14 days.
For tomato, either 4 applications at 200 ml/da or 2 applications at 400 ml/da with a 14-day interval should be carried out.
For drip irrigation, one irrigation line should be installed for each plant row, with one emitter positioned close to each plant to ensure homogeneous distribution.
The plant protection product ROBIGO 20 SC is a nematicide classified as Group 6 according to its mode of action.
Repeated applications of plant protection products with the same mode of action may promote the development of resistance.
Therefore, in order to delay resistance development, do not exceed the total number of applications recommended for ROBIGO 20 SC during the same production season.
If repeated application is necessary, care should be taken to use plant protection products with a different mode of action (other than Group 6).
It is not recommended to mix it with other products.
